Hello! My name, as some highly perceptive people might have guessed, is Brian. I think I’m at an exciting time in life so I have created this website to organize some of it’s pieces and share them with those whom are interested. Specifically, I hope to post about three subjects; my travels, my thoughts, and my endeavors. Feel free to come along on this journey.
Here is a little more description on what you will find in each of the sections as well as some suggestions:
In life I find that I like to constantly be doing something. Here I will talk about what these somethings include. I have separated them into three categories; Academic, which includes stories from my formal education; Professional, which tells stories about different jobs I have had or might have had; and Personal, where I write about personal strivings that do not fall into the previous categories.
- Personal: Trying To Climb A 12 Foot Pole
- Professional: The Tutor Lifestyle
- Academic: Management And Finance Spring 2013
I like to ponder subjects. Here I will talk about some of these thoughts. The categories of thoughts reflect my interests. Under Technology I will place thoughts pertaining to nonspecific thoughts about technology. Typically they will have to do with how certain types of technology makes me feel or where I think technology is going. Under Products and Services I will discuss thoughts that have to do with a specific piece of a company or one of their products or services. Society is the label I gave to my thoughts that are about people in general. Quickies goes to short thoughts that are only a paragraph long.
- Technology: My Vision For Future Technology
- Products and Services: Facebook Chatheads: Spatially Challenged
- Society: Don’t Be A Hating Appreciator
- Quickies: Better Home Or Better Vacation
I believe that exploring the world and the people and creatures that inhabit it can be one of the most rewarding uses of time. Many of the pieces of my personality or world view can be attributed to learnings from my travels. Each category of this section is one trip I took. For this reason there might be areas seeming to be covered twice. This is because I traveled there on two different trips. Most recently my travels have taken me studying abroad in Australia and backpacking around Southeast Asia afterwards. Other trips include the Middle East, Europe, the Caribbean, two exchanges to France, and one exchange to Russia.
- Southeast Asia: Showing Appreciation In Thailand
- Australia: Secret Bars
- Middle East: Swimming In The Dead Sea
- Russian Exchange: Playing The Roll
